Who is this for?

This qualification is for those that require additional training in basic life support and management of anaphylaxis. Many attendees are those working in environments that support children that may be at risk of severe allergic reactions, for example those working in nurseries and other early years settings.

The qualification has also been designed as the perfect add-on to standard first aid courses such as the Level 3 Award in Paediatric First aid (RQF).

Please note, this qualification is intended to ensure candidates maintain their skills during their qualification period. This is not a re-qualification, qualification.

Pre-Requisites:
This qualification is available to those over 16 years. Candidates should be at least a level 2 numeracy and literacy or equivalent

Progression route:
Learners may progress onto the following qualifications:
Level 3 Award in First aid at Work (RQF)
Level 3 Award in Paediatric First aid (RQF)
Level 3 Award in Responding to Incidents with an AED (RQF)
