Who is this for?
This qualification is for those undertaking the role of a first aider in the workplace. The Level 3 Award in First aid at Work (RQF) has been developed in conjunction with other AOs and supports employers to meet their requirements under the Health and Safety (First Aid) regulations 1981. (NI 1982)
Pre-Requisites:
This qualification is available to those over 16 years. Candidates should be at least a level 2 numeracy and literacy or equivalent. Candidates under the age of 16 can complete the qualification, however, employers should not rely on those under 16 to be a lone first aider.
Progression route:
Learners may progress onto the following qualifications:
Level 3 Award in Responding to Anaphylactic Reactions (RQF)
Level 3 Award in Responding to Incidents with an AED (RQF)
